Home      About Us

Michael O'Connor is a BMG/MCA published writer.  He has extensive knowledge in all publishing matters. His first four songs ever published all become Billboard top 100 hits. His key staff writer Leslie Pearl went on to write the hit jingle "FOLGERS IN MY CUP" and oconnor represents over 50 of her great songs.

His songs have been recorded by such industry heavy weights as:

Berry Gordy - (Motown founder) purchased a number of OConnor songs. Quote: "I have over 50,000 songs at Jobete, I've just heard 7 of OConnor's, let's acquire him" Berry went on to purchase a number of OConnor songs.

Phil Ramone - (Producer for Streisand, Billy Joel and Paul McCartney). Phil recorded Michaels published song "Manhunt" for the Flash Dance movie. It went on to win grammy's for the writers and sold over 11 million records.

Clive Davis - (BMG chairman) who signed Alicia Keys and Whitney Houston was quoted as saying "Michael you have not only found a hit for Melissa Manchester you have found her career single".

David Kershenbaum (producer for Tracy Chapman). David feels Michael's song "DID YOU LOVE SOMEONE" is a grammy contender. And it looks like we just found the perfect 13 year old singer (Hunter Pecunia) to perform it. Stay tuned for the next great singing sensation.

Songs are like a 3 minute movie. They have far more power than film. They play back on the screen of the imagination, which is far more vivid than celluloid. All a songwriter is, is a film maker for the heart and the mind. And if somehow we touch your soul, hopefully we've created a fan. (an oconnorism)

Michael is also providing business affairs advice for Omovies. They had the 2nd most viewed youtube video in the world last month and their videos are approaching 30 million views.

Omovie founders Alan Murray and Sean Haines are also great songwriter's who write all of the songs for their parody videos. "Harry Potter in the Hood' and the Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan parodies. They've been interviewed on CNN, Entertainment Tonight, The insider and are one of You-tubes most viewed movie makers.
